Windows 7 MCE + DVBLink for HDPVR = HD Happiness

Another HD200 will let me get me setup in one more room. :)
Thanks for the chance!

I'll take it off your hands, Brent - assuming it still works after you took it apart :).
Brett-Thanks for your great input /articles on BTV conversion.
thanks for the hard work, as always
Thank You!
Thanks for the opportunity from the Great White North!
Fantastic review. SageTV is an awesome product cannot wait to try this.
The way to go from standalone mode to extender mode is to select "SageTV server" from the menu.
In my spare time I do Linux TV work on and off (stoth at linuxtv dot org), I'm no stranger to working on embedded Linux systems. So.... One of the things I'd like to see happen is a port of MythTV to the Sigma 863x platform, or better yet, a port of Boxee.
I'd love to get my hands on one of these units for a couple of reasons:
1) Because I happen to like SageTV and I could make good use of it on both PC and the Mac. (Have you seen my Mac HDPVR and firewire captures apps btw? Google for AVSNoodle or HDPVRCapture - in fact I can't believe you haven't mentioned them on your site yet!).
2) I'd like to kickstart some custom software for a whole range of 863x devices that are on the market. I certainly wouldn't trash the flash, but I would be experimenting with a mini / cut-down mythtv frontend.
How cool would that be?
Yes indeed, very cool.
Aloha,
Mike
I have HD100s and have been using SageTV since October and would be interested to compare the HW for speed on comparable operations as well as having a usable USB port. Thanks for the opportunity with the giveaway!
I appreciate all that you contribute to the SageTV forums and keeping up to date with the releases.
I also used your Christmas themes on my extenders and got some oohs and aahs for that so thanks again :-)
Doug
Keep up the good work.
Hmmm... I wonder if Sage will ever come out with an HD extender...
:-)
Thanks for an informative website

The Sage extenders are the only way to go for anyone serious about using SageTV as their PVR.

Nice job on the review. I know I love the one I just added to the bedroom. They just make life with SageTV so much easier. Still running the thick client on the family room HTPC though for PVRing/Blur-ray playback.
I'm new to HD, HTPC, and extenders, but SageTV seems like an awesome entry point!
